The current leader is Indonesia. InShot Pro costs Rp69,000 per month there — $3.87, about 22% below the $4.99 Americans pay — as of Aug 29, 2026. India follows at ₹399 ($4.17), and Pakistan rounds out the top three at Rs 1,300 ($4.69). The full board, every dated country: InShot prices by country.
Which country is cheapest for InShot?
This rank covers the monthly Pro subscription only — the tier InShot pushes hardest. Local currency is the source figure; USD uses the exchange rate from the verification date, explained on the methodology page.
| Country | Local monthly | USD |
|---|---|---|
| Indonesia | Rp69,000 | $3.87 |
| India | ₹399 | $4.17 |
| Pakistan | Rs 1,300 | $4.69 |
| South Korea | ₩6,600 | $4.74 |
| Brazil | R$24.90 | $4.78 |
| Turkey | ₺229.99 | $4.80 |
| Philippines | ₱299 | $4.84 |
| Egypt | EGP 249.99 | $4.96 |
| Vietnam | ₫129,000 | $4.97 |
| United States | $4.99 | $4.99 |
Notice how thin the middle of this table is. Nine countries sit within about a dollar of the US price, which tells you something useful: InShot’s regional pricing is conservative compared with streaming services, where the same subscription can cost a tenth of the American rate. The realistic saving from switching storefronts is small.
The lifetime plan changes the math
InShot sells three ways: monthly, yearly, and a one-time lifetime purchase. On the US App Store (checked August 2026) those list at $4.99 monthly, $17.99 yearly, and $49.99 lifetime. The yearly works out to about $1.50 a month, and the lifetime pays for itself against the monthly price in roughly ten months.
Here is the part most guides skip: because the lifetime is priced per storefront too, buying it in a cheaper country locks the discount forever. Pay $49.99-equivalent in the US, or the discounted local equivalent in Indonesia, and both last as long as the app exists. If you already know you will keep using InShot past a year, the lifetime tier matters more than which storefront saves you $1.12 a month. Confirm the current lifetime figure on your own buy screen before paying — promotions move it around.
One honest caveat: InShot sells entirely through mobile in-app purchases. There is no website checkout to compare against, so the App Store price is the whole story.
Will a VPN get me a cheaper InShot?
Not by itself. The App Store prices by your Apple ID’s country, not your connection. To see Rp69,000 you need an account set to the Indonesian storefront, funded with a payment method that storefront accepts — typically local cards or Apple ID credit bought locally. A network tool can help you reach a storefront while travelling, but it cannot create either requirement. That is why we flag the gap separately instead of pretending a five-minute trick exists. Same logic applies to every mobile editor; we tested it on CapCut too.
How do I actually pay?
Everything runs through the app stores. On iOS, Pro bills to the Apple ID country — an Indonesian Apple ID for the Indonesian price. Verified methods on that row:
| Method | Status (Indonesia row) |
|---|---|
| Local card | Yes |
| Apple ID credit (gifted locally) | Yes |
| Apple Pay | Yes |
| Google Play gift card | No |
| PayPal | Not verified |
Practical route if you genuinely live in a cheap-price country: open InShot, tap Pro, and check the currency on the confirmation sheet before you approve anything. Practical route if you don’t: stay put and buy the yearly or lifetime tier, where the real savings are. More payment paths across services: how to pay.
Will my account get banned?
InShot has no accounts in the normal sense — Pro attaches to your Apple ID or Google account. The risk sits with the store, not the developer. Apple tolerates a storefront matching where you actually are and can flag accounts that hop countries with mismatched payment details. Worst case is losing purchases tied to that account, so never move an account holding apps or data you cannot replace. Buying gray-market logins from strangers is the one move we flatly advise against.
Bottom line
Indonesia at $3.87 is the cheapest verified monthly price, but the spread over the US is barely $1.12 a month — lunch-money territory. For anyone staying longer than ten months, the smarter play is the lifetime tier wherever you legitimately shop, since its one-time price dwarfs the monthly discount you would be chasing.
