The answer is unambiguous — Pakistan, and nowhere near second place. SoloLearn Pro runs Rs 160 a month there — $0.58 at the August 29, 2026 exchange rate, 92% below the $6.99 US price. That is less than a bus fare for the same app. Every dated country sits on the full SoloLearn table if you want the whole board.

But before you open a VPN tab: the hard part is not finding the price. It is paying it. More on that below.

Which country is cheapest for SoloLearn?

Flagship Pro only, monthly in-app purchase. Lowest verified USD first. Local currency is the source figure; USD uses the dated FX from our methodology page.

Country Local USD vs US
Pakistan Rs 160 $0.58 −92%
Turkey ₺46.99 $0.98 −86%
India ₹169 $1.76 −75%
Nigeria ₦2,500 $1.85 −74%
Egypt EGP 114.99 $2.28 −67%
Japan ¥750 $4.71 −33%
Brazil R$26.90 $5.17 −26%
Indonesia Rp99,000 $5.55 −21%
New Zealand NZ$9.99 $5.87 −16%
Philippines ₱369 $5.97 −15%
United States $6.99 $6.99

All 38 dated rows were verified Aug 29, 2026 straight from each country’s public App Store listing — no estimates, no scraped blog numbers.

One correction to a claim you may have read elsewhere: some comparison sites still call the United Kingdom the most expensive place to buy Pro. It is not even close anymore. At £6.99-equivalent pricing the UK lands at $9.48, while Czechia tops our board at $9.56 and most of Western Europe pays $8.69. Those pages also mix yearly-plan averages into monthly columns, which makes India look like $0.72 when the actual monthly purchase is ₹169 ($1.76).

Will a VPN alone get me the cheaper price?

No. A VPN changes where your traffic appears to come from. The App Store bills according to your Apple ID’s country and a matching payment method, not your IP. Connect through Karachi on a US account and you will still see $6.99.

What actually moves you to the Pakistan storefront:

  1. A second Apple ID set to Pakistan.
  2. A payment method Apple accepts in that storefront — PKR Apple gift card credit is the usual route, since foreign cards get declined.
  3. Downloading SoloLearn under that account and buying Pro there.

That is three steps and one honest trade-off: reviews, purchases, and downloads on that account live in the Pakistan store too. Some people keep a spare device or just switch accounts when renewing. If that sounds like more friction than $77 a year in savings justifies, that is a fair conclusion — for most readers in rich countries it is.

There is also a terms risk. Region-hopping accounts violate Apple’s terms, and SoloLearn can cancel a Pro subscription that looks manipulated. We explain how we weigh that in our methodology.

How do I actually pay?

Our dated rows are App Store in-app purchases, and that is the main way SoloLearn collects money — the app is mobile-first and the web checkout exists mostly to funnel you back to the app. Here is the reality per method on the Pakistan row, verified Aug 29, 2026:

Method Reality
Local card Yes — a Pakistani card on the PK storefront works
Apple gift card (PKR credit) Yes — the practical route for outsiders
Apple Pay Yes on the dated row
Google Play gift card Not on this row
PayPal Not documented for this purchase
VPN only Not enough — payment country is the gate

Payment hub: how to pay.

If you are in a mid-tier country rather than chasing Pakistan, the calculus changes. Turkey (₺46.99 / $0.98), India (₹169 / $1.76), and Nigeria (₦2,500 / $1.85) all sit under two dollars, and if you already have an Apple ID in any of those countries, you can buy Pro today without touching anything. That is the quiet sweet spot nobody mentions: the biggest savings go to people who did nothing except be born somewhere with weak purchasing power.

Will my account get banned?

Honest answer: probably not, but it is allowed to happen. SoloLearn’s enforcement focus is credential abuse and refund fraud, not a student in Germany with a Turkish Apple ID. Still, both Apple and the developer reserve the right to cancel. Two rules keep the downside small:

  • Never move an account you cannot afford to lose. Make a fresh one for the cheap storefront.
  • Confirm the currency on the billing screen before you tap Buy — Apple shows you the exact amount in the storefront’s currency first.

Buying gray-market logins from resellers is the genuinely risky version. You hand credentials to a stranger for a subscription that can vanish overnight. The DIY path above costs more and survives.

Is Pro even worth $6.99, let alone the hassle?

Worth saying plainly: SoloLearn’s free tier covers the core courses, and Pro mainly removes ads, adds offline access, and opens extra practice and AI features. At $0.58 the value case is trivial. At $9.48 in the UK you are paying more than Netflix-adjacent money for a beginner coding app — at that point compare it with Codecademy or Brilliant before committing. Both have their own country tables in our education hub.
