YouTube Premium India has two doors. The dated cells on this site are Apple: Individual ₹289/mo ($3.02) and Family ₹389 ($4.06) versus US Individual $20.99, dated 29 Aug 2026. youtube.com memberships follow the Google payments-profile country and can take Play credit and UPI when that country is India. Those doors do not share a receipt.

Apple cell: Play credit is false
On the dated Apple Individual cell, an India-issued card, Apple Pay, or India-store Apple credit can pay. Play gift cards do not settle that Apple ID. If you subscribed inside the iPhone app by mistake, cancel in iOS Settings → Subscriptions, wait out the paid period, then resubscribe on youtube.com if you want the Google-billed door. Do not run both.
Nigeria Individual is ₦2,200 ($1.63) — the cheap YouTube country. India at $3.02 is a different rung. Apple Music Individual in India is ₹139 on a different Apple door.
Google-billed door: Play country must be India
- Payments country = India on the Google profile, not the UI language.
- Fund it with UPI, an India-issued card, or India-denominated Play codes at play.google.com/redeem.
- Subscribe on youtube.com or Android, not inside iOS, if you want that door.
- Confirm INR. USD or AED means the wrong country.
Play codes are country-locked. Test one small India code before loading a year. Prepaid fixed-duration memberships exist on the Google door — billing-shape, not this Apple cell.
Family members need a workable Google family group. Foreign logins in the family group do not mint India pricing.
