iOS Settings → Subscriptions lists YouTube: Apple is billing you.
The card statement says Apple, not Google.
youtube.com → Purchases and memberships shows Google billing.

Already on Apple and you want the Google door? Cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, wait out the paid period, then subscribe in a browser at youtube.com. Resubscribing from inside the iOS app puts you back on Apple.

Family needs one payer on one rail. An Apple Family plus a web Individual in the same house is how households buy Premium twice.

Play credit versus Apple credit

Play gift cards follow the Play country. They can fund Google-billed Premium when that country is India or Nigeria. They cannot pay an India or US Apple ID. India-store Apple credit can pay the India Apple cell. Those are different wallets.

UPI including Google Pay is normal on the Google door in India. UPI cannot pay an Apple in-app sheet. Pick one door.

What Spotify and Netflix did instead

Spotify looked at Apple’s commission and pulled in-app signup. One checkout, one Individual price. Netflix did the same. YouTube kept Apple billing alive and priced it as its own cell — which is why this page exists and the Spotify sibling is a no.
